The insured person who wishes to take responsibility in matters of health care costs can benefit from attractive discounts by choosing an optional deductible starting from Fr. 500.- per calendar year. Furthermore, with FIRST MED, the insured person can benefit from an extra discount up to 8%.Furthermore, with FIRST MED, the insured person can benefit from an extra discount up to 8%.

Better budget management
This discount, granted immediately on the amount of the premium, can be as high as Fr. 1’752.- per year!

The deductible does not apply to maternity care!
This relieves the family budget, even if another family member sees a doctor during the year.

With FIRSTMED, at the time of joining the insurance plan, the insured person chooses a doctor of first resort (DFR) from the list of doctors issued by INTRAS. A subsequent change of DFR is possible.

A simple choice
With effect from January 1st of a calendar year, the insured person may choose an optional deductible (Fr. 500.-, 1’000.-, 1’500.- , 2’000.-, or 2’500.-). The insured is given the option to return to a lower deductible at the end of each calendar year according to his financial situation or health status.

Medical expenses during the year?
